Today was a very lovely day. My cat stopped being lazy so I could take pictures of her. Sarah and Landon decided to clean the rabbit's cage by sticking their hands in the litter. It isn't even our rabbit, we are just pet sitting for a very little while! Also, the cherries are ripe. We already whipped up some cherry cake and two pans of cherry cobbler. My famous camping trip is in two days. Emily is coming! My mom and my little brothers are going to come along with some of my cousins and maybe Sarah will come too. This is why you see a picture of my pack hanging on a clothes lines cause I washed it. We are actually going to.... The Uintahs!!! Yay!
The back packing trip is five miles up to a place where it looks like a rain forest and there are beautiful lakes, one of which is called the Grand-daddy-lake and it is the one my uncle died in before I was even born. Last time I was up there I only went out to the lake about three to four feet cause it kind of freaked me out. The lakes are so pure and you can see straight to the bottom. Along the lake sides are millions of water lilies and frogs. I love it so much. I am so darn excited!!
Samantha's wedding.
Sam is my cousin on my mom's side, and she is getting married! We drove two and a half hours to the cabin. We stayed over night, but in the morning it was going to get hectic. I (along with my other older cousins) were in charge of the littler kids who could not go along with their parents to the temple. It was very insane. When they were finally done with the wedding, they came home only to bring us food for everyone and left us to all this junk food while they went to a fancy lunch. Well, I didn't care that much. I wouldn't have gone to the wedding if I could anyway. I really like babysitting all my little cousins. :) So here are some pictures of the reception for you. It was about lo4 degrees, but the clouds finally got the best of the sun and it was a really pretty reception.

Pool party!!!
Well, we have new neighbors now. They are from Korea and don't speak English. We asked the 16 year old girl and the 14 year old boy to come to mutual with us and go swimming. They must really not have wanted to go because they told us they were too tired and couldn't swim. I understand. They are LDS. They are going to be coming to our ward and I am pretty excited about that.
Well, uesterday was pretty fun.

Girls camp.
This Year was girls camp. I had the privilege of being a YCL! We hiked, and canoed, laughed. I even painted the theme of our ward on a sheet so that everyone in other wards could see how amazing we all are. It was the most grand time of the year so far. I loved testimony meeting most of all. I never thought there could be so much love and peace. I LOVE GIRLS CAMP!

Smile at least once today!!!
Today was testimony meeting in Church. I bore my testimony and made my family cry as I cried at the same time. Even my dad cried. Then my sister gave her testimony, she cried. After that, my little brother "Cade" did so as well. All the rest of the meetings were just gobs of tears because of testimony meeting. The spirit was very strong so, we couldn't really do anything about it.
I think today was one of the most emotional days in the world. It is the fourth of July and so all the meetings were about serving and giving back to our country along with sacrificing for something more valuable. Ha ha, I've never made my dad cry before so that was pretty amazing I guess. I also made my leaders and my cousin Angela cry. I could see her in back wiping all her tears away and I was really glad she wasn't wearing very much make up cause it would have all been smeared. I think she was prepared on purpose... :)

Don't be a Bob
Today is Saturday, which means, alot of traffic on the roads, which also means, "don't mess up your driving Madison" so, I was extra careful. I pay attention! Sometimes I'll glance somewhere else fore a millisecond, but other than that, I wear my seat belt and I make everyone else wear a seat belt too. Anything can happen on the road, that is why I am extra alert. The picture show's what I sometimes look like when I am in complete focus. "Focus", that is a word I live by. I believe in being extra careful, not overly careful, but careful... life is like this a lot, it throw's situations at you that you don't think your ready for, but believe me, no matter what the challenge, be ready for it. Stay alert... STAY ALIVE! Not like the other dude.

Sweet sixteen!
Three days ago I celebrated my 16th birthday. My mom threw a surprise party for me and all the young women came to wish me a happy birthday. They all donated money and baby clothes to the orphanage I am staying at in China. I felt like I was going to cry cause it was so nice and wonderful that they all were willing to help me. My cousins came too. Angie and Amy and Missy brought a ton of cloths that there little sister grew out of and they are so adorable. Emily gave me a beautiful vase that has the kind of oldish African style that I like and I already put in my room for decoration that night. It was dark but a wonderful birthday, the best ever!
When the rain comes tumbling down...
When the rain comes pouring down, we don't see it as a gloomy day, we see it as an opportunity, the kind of opportunity that might embarrass the whole family. The sign there said "SPLASH ME" which means the car that comes by will read the sign, swerve to the puddle and splash the sign holder. Sometimes we will all go out there and get splashed, then after the puddle is too low, we go inside, take a shower, get in some warm clothes, and drink hot-chocolate together...
Yup, and that is how we spend family time together.
The puddle thing is sort of a tradition.
